Meet Our Team

  • Owner and Instructor

Heather began her Pilates journey in 2000 and quickly recognized its profound benefits, inspiring her to learn more. In 2010, she began her comprehensive teacher training with Balanced Body under the guidance of Karen Sanzo at Pilates Unlimited in Dallas, TX. Her passion for movement led her to a Titleist Level 1 TPI certification in 2023, seamlessly integrating Pilates with the golf swing.

In April 2024, Heather acquired 3CPilates from Jan Berthy. She was one of Jan's original instructors when 3CPilates opened its doors in December 2015. Heather loves the community that Jan built and is committed to expanding it, helping clients move and feel better.

"One of the most rewarding things to hear from my clients is how Pilates helps them move more efficiently and easily in their daily activities."

Heather offers private sessions, group equipment classes, and TPI assessment. She is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of each client.

  • Jan founded 3CPilates in 2015 and owned it through April of 2024. Jan trained to become an instructor through Balanced Body, Inc., with Karen Sanzo, PT, at Pilates Unlimited in Dallas, TX. Jan has training in Pilates Mat Beginner/Advanced, Pilates Apparatus 1,2, and 3 (tower, chair and barrel), Reformer 1, 2 and 3, and Anatomy along with several continuing education courses. Jan also obtained a B.S. Degree from Louisiana State University in 1986 majoring in Quantitative Business Analysis with a focus on Computer Information Management. She left her Information Technology career in 2000 to be a stay-at-home mom. Jan discovered a passion for Pilates as a client, which led to her certification training with Balanced Body, Inc.

“Pilates helped me personally to eliminate shoulder and back pain, tone my body and has proven to be a great method for dealing with stress. I knew I wanted to share this method with others. My goal when starting 3CPilates was to create a welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities and we definitely have done that. I look forward to helping you along your journey!”

  • Rebecca (Becca) is an experienced communication instructor who has practiced Pilates for the past 10 years.  Last summer, she decided to combine her passion for both by embarking on the journey of comprehensive certification in Pilates.  The majority of her study has come under Brooke Bowersock, Balanced Body Master Instructor and owner of ALIGN Pilates Austin.

Outside of Pilates, Becca is the mother of 3 and enjoys playing tennis.  Becca credits Pilates with allowing her to continue to play tennis saying, “I fell in love with tennis and Pilates around the same time.  Originally, I chose to spend the majority of my time on tennis.  My body disagreed with that notion, and I shifted to equal parts tennis AND Pilates, and I have seen such a dramatic change. Choosing to become an instructor seemed like a natural next step for me and I’m so excited to be teaching at 3C!”

  • Meet Samantha, or Sam, an experienced movement teacher who offers both private and group Pilates classes. Sam began teaching in 2019 in Austin under the tutelage of Brooke Bowersock, owner of ALIGN Pilate Austin and Balanced Body Master Instructor. She completed her Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Certification in 2021.

Sam fell in love with Pilates while pursuing her dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer. Whether in a private or class setting, Sam aims to guide her students to a deeper mind-body connection to discover the unique intricacies of their bodies.

Merging contemporary and classical Pilates ideas with her dance background, Sam seeks to create a fun flow that will challenge you physically and mentally.
