  • The Pilates method is a form of exercise focused on engaging the mind with the body to strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and improve overall health. Pilates is a full body workout, designed to strengthen from your center. Every exercise is performed with attention to breath, proper form and efficient movement patterns. You will gain body awareness building symmetry and coordination, which will carry over into your daily life.

    We incorporate the key principles of the Pilates method into our workouts:

    • Centering

    • Concentration

    • Control

    • Precision

    • Breath

    • Flow

  • Yes! Let your instructor know what your injury is and we will make the appropriate modifications to help you in your workout. We always recommend doing a private prior to joining group classes if you are returning from an injury or surgery.

  • We are so happy that you have chosen 3C as your Pilates studio. Arrive to the studio 10 minutes early to update your contact information. Forms, waivers and purchases can all be done online or if your prefer, we can assist you prior to class. Email info@3CPilates or call (817)789-0169. If you have any injuries make sure that you communicate with your instructor so we can give the appropriate modifications.

  • Women should wear exercise leggings or comfortable pants with an athletic top. Men should wear athletic shorts with long compression shorts underneath or long athletic pants with an athletic shirt. Avoid wearing anything with zippers, buttons or snaps that could damage the equipment. Pilates is usually done barefoot, but it you prefer you can wear grippy socks.

  • It is best to do Pilates 2-3 times per week. With practicing Pilates multiple times per week you will see in increase in strength, flexibility and body awareness.

    Scheduling:

    We love our clients and want to ensure they all experience the positive benefits of consistent Pilates practice. But we also know that life is not always in ‘optimal alignment’ and schedules sometimes need to be changed.

    We use an online scheduling system where you may schedule, reschedule, or cancel classes and appointments. The system is available anytime and can be accessed through our website (www.3cpilates.com). The system also manages a waitlist when classes are full. As a courtesy to clients on waitlists, please make schedule changes as soon as possible. If you are unable to access the system, please notify the studio by phone or text.

    Late Cancellations:

    To maximize your opportunity to attend classes and to manage the studio class schedule effectively we have implemented the following guidelines for late cancellations.

    • All clients receive two (2) “No charge” late cancellations annually.

    • Cancellations must be made more than 12-hours before a class to avoid a late

      cancellation and charge.

    • Cancellations must be made more than 24-hours before a private/duet to avoid

      a late cancellation and charge.

      Expiration Dates:

      The expiration date for all regularly priced packages is 6-months from the date of purchase. Classes on monthly contract plans do not carry over and must be used within the month. Special promotion or sale packages must be used within the specified timeframe.

      Expiration dates on our packages exist to help you attend regularly to achieve the goals you desire from consistent Pilates practice. We have a firm expiration date policy with minimal exceptions for emergencies, medical holds, or other extenuating circumstances.

      Please purchase the package that best fits your schedule and goals. Unused classes/packages are non-refundable or transferrable.

      Studio Courtesy/Etiquette:

    • Please arrive on time for class.

    • Upon entering the studio, please be aware of classes that may be in session.

    • In consideration of others, please silence your cell phone while in the studio. If you

      have a special circumstance, please step outside to take phone calls.

    • Please remove your shoes upon entering. Grip socks or bare feet are best for class.

    • Please refrain from wearing strong scents or perfumes as a courtesy to our

      sensitive clients. Also, avoid using greasy lotions. This is not good for the equipment.

    • Women should wear exercise leggings or comfortable pants. Men should wear athletic

      shorts with long compression shorts underneath or long athletic pants.

    • Please avoid wearing clothing with metal zippers, sharp jewelry, or accessories.

    • Please return accessories and clean all equipment after use.
